THE STEPHANIAN
The official magazine of St. Stephen’s College, titled The Stephanian is published every year, exploring the multi-faceted activities in college. The magazine is published under the Editorial team consisting of a Chief Editor and the Teacher Editors for the respective Stephanian sections in English, Hindi, Urdu and Sanskrit. The Editorial team also appoints junior members as Editors who act not only as mediators between the Editorial team and their peers, they actively seek out, collect and write articles for the magazine. The magazine also features interviews with several teachers, including the ones who are no more a part of the College faculty. It also attempts to maintain a record of the teachers who’ve retired or passed out in the preceding year of its publishing. The contributions of the students form the major part of the magazine, offering a wide range of works, from fiction to non-fiction, poetry to specialized articles, photographs to various other artistic forms. The magazine further includes a detailed report of the Dismissal Service and the list of the awardees, winning prestigious prizes for their commendable contributions to College. Concluded by a report from the Principal, the magazine offers a glance at the preceding year of the College.
