Delhi University Inter College Squash (Rackets) Men – Runner Up
St Stephen’s College has a rich tradition associated with the sport of Squash. The college had an unbeaten streak for the last Forty Years. This year however marked an upset as the victory came on game short in the Inter College tournament and the Team Finished Second.
The Final Match against traditional rivals Hansraj College had a twist of fate as the freshmen could not convert five Match points which would have sealed the fate of the Hansraj Team.
Even though the Team finished Second, there is an optimism in the air as the quality of competition was top notch – which is a good sign of growth for the sport.
