VIRSA – THE PUNJABI LITERARY SOCIETY
VIRSA, the Punjabi literary society of St. Stephens College, is a vibrant platform that aims to celebrate the culture, traditions and literature of Punjab. Over the years, the society has successfully organized various cultural events, such as the annual Lohri Night and Punjabi Lunch, along with talks/discussions centered around literary works based in Punjab. Our list of speakers includes writers Amandeep Sandhu and Manjul Bajaj, former Indian Ambassador to the United States, Navtej Sarna, and retd. JNU professor, Chaman Lal.
