VACANCY NOTIFICATION

Advertisement for Library Interns

Applications are invited from the Library & Information Science Professionals having Master Degree in Library and Information Science with 55% marks as ‘Library Intern’ at St. Stephen’s College Library. Library intern will be recruited for the period of six months (approximately). However, the tenure may be extended depending upon library needs and performance of the candidate. The candidates have to work Monday to Saturday as per the library requirements. The candidate shall have the knowledge of computer and any library management system (LMS). The details of payments and qualifications are as follows:

Tenure of Engagement till March 31, 2020
Monthly Stipend Rs. 11000/- (Consolidated)
Educational Qualification Master of Library and Information Science with basic computer knowledge
Age Limit 35 Years

The number of positions may be increased depending upon the library needs. Candidates who meet qualification may attend the personal interview on August 21, 2019 at 2 p.m. in the Bursar’s Office, St Stephen’s College, Delhi (India). Candidates appearing for interview are requested to bring with them a copy of resume and all testimonials in originals.

For each subject there is a Society that sponsors extra-curricular lectures and discussion and, in general, tries to stimulate interest in the subject. There are many other academic and cultural society and clubs covering wide range of activities, such as debating, dramatics, mountaineering, film and music appreciation, social service, photography and electronics.
