COMMITTEES

PURCHASE COMMITTEE OF THE COLLEGE


The following members shall constitute the Purchase Committee of the College:

1. Dr. Chinkhanlun Guite (Bursar) – Convener
2. Mr. Sanjay Rao Ayde
3. Dr. Violet R Macwan
4. Mr. Hemraj Joshi
5. Mr. George Thomas

The committee shall examine and approve of all the purchases of the College in accordance with the General Financial Rules 2017.

 

RESEARCH PROJECT MONITORING COMMITTEE


The following members shall comprise the Research Project Monitoring Committee of the College:

1. Prof. John Varghese (Principal)
2. Dr. Chinkhanlun Guite (Bursar) – Convener
3. Dr. Malay Neerav (Dean – Academics)

The quorum shall be of two members. All bills pertaining to Research Project shall be examined by the College.

 

SCIENCE FACILITIES PURCHASE COMMITTEE


The following members shall constitute the Science Facilities Purchase Committee of the College:

  1. Dr. Chinkhanlun Guite (Bursar) – Convener
  2. Dr. Jacob Cherian – Head, Dept. of Physics
  3. Ms. Sunita Prasher – Head, Department of Computer Science
  4. Dr. Vibha Sharma – Head, Dept. of Chemistry
  5. Dr. Ekta Kundra Arora – Member, Department of Chemistry
  6. Dr. Harish Kumar Yadav – Member, Member, Department of Physics

The convener is requested to ensure that all procedures envisaged in General Financial Rules 2005 are strictly adhered to while dealing with purchase.

 

MESS PURCHASE COMMITTEE


The following members shall reconstitute the Mess Purchase Committee:

1. Revd. Dr. Monodeep Daniel (Dean) – Convener
2. Dr. Chinkhanlun Guite (Bursar)
3. Revd. Samuel John Shekhar (Mess Steward)
4. Ms. Ann Susan
 

COLLEGE BURSARY COMMITTEE


The committee to screen the applications and decide on the award of College Bursaries shall comprise the following:

  2. Revd. Dr. Monodeep Daniel (Dean, Residence)
  3. Dr. Malay Neerav (Dean – Academics)

SOCIETIES
The self-motivated and ceaseless activities of over two dozen clubs and societies constitute a very important part of College life and offer a large variety of avenues for self expression. For each subject there is a Society that sponsors extra-curricular lectures and discussion and, in general, tries to stimulate interest in the subject. There are many other academic and cultural society and clubs covering wide range of activities, such as debating, dramatics, mountaineering, film and music appreciation, social service, photography and electronics.
