DINING HALL

DINING HALL

Dining Hall-St.StephensCollegeSituated in the main building of the college, the dining hall [popularly called “mess”] is the best place to start one’s day with. The mess constitutes a special part called the “High Table” where the Senior members have their meals. With the capacity to host 400 Senior and Junior resident members, it undoubtedly provides one of the most nutritious balanced diets available in and around the college. The breakfast given here can boost one to start the day with optimism and confidence. The thirst of milk and coffee/tea lovers gets fulfilled in the morning itself. After half a day of attending rigorous classes, one gets to eat the lunch along with a special beverage or a seasonal fruit. Next, one gets tea at 5:30pm which hardly any resident junior member would miss after a series of brain storming classes and working wholeheartedly in various societies. The day ends with a satisfactory dinner and a dessert to give one a good sound sleep. The day scholar junior members can have the meals from the college mess by means of coupon facility available there. The mess caters to the needs of both vegetarians and non-vegetarians with no predilection. The productivity, health and positive energy of all the members can be imputed to the mess staff who work diligently.
